What is it and who can it help? |
Homeopathy is an alternative health treatment for those who want to avoid taking any, or more, pharmaceutical medicines. It can be used to treat a very wide range of illnesses. The remedies are usually given in tablet form (with special dissolvable ones for infants). They are non-toxic and so safe to use for all ages, newborns to the elderly and during pregnancy. You can also take them alongside other conventional medications.
It is the principle on which remedies are prescribed that makes them homeopathic. In homeopathy, remedies are selected on their ability to produce similar symptoms to the ones the patient already has. Homeopathy takes into account the individual way each person suffers from a problem. No one has exactly the same asthma, for example, and homeopathy will give different remedies according to these differences. |
About me |
I am predominately a classical homeopath (one remedy at a time).
I have seen thousand's of children over my time in the Children's Clinic treating children with emotional and physical issues. I have always treated adults in my private practice.
